This rare catalogue publication for Carl Andre BLACKWHOLES at the Kunsthalle Basel from June 16th – September 18th 2005 is a deceivingly concise approach to Carl Andre’s sculpture and poetry. Seen as words printed on paper and hung on the wall, Andre’s poems are objects unto themselves. When viewed in the same context as Andre’s arranged, low, floor sculptures, the word patterns evoke a similar building arrangement to the sculptures.
